Combine Ingredients A and B in a bowl. Rub the mixture with your fingers until it resembles breadcrumbs.
▢
Add grated cheese and mix well.
▢
Make a well in the middle of the mixture, then add buttermilk. Combine thoroughly.
▢
Flatten the dough and cut out with a round biscuit cutter.
▢
Sprinkle self-raising flour on top of scones.
▢
Bake at 200°C for 9 minutes.
