  • 1 measuring spoon set

  • 1 sharp knife
  • 1 blender
  • 1 silicone spatula (or spoon)
  • 1 popsicle mold set
  • 8 popsicle sticks
  • 1 freezer

Directions

  1. Add the granulated sugar and water to a small saucepan.
  2. Warm over medium-low heat, stirring until the sugar fully dissolves. Let it come to a gentle simmer, then remove from the heat.
  3. Set the simple syrup aside and let it cool completely.
  4. Add the cooled simple syrup, chopped cantaloupe, and fresh lemon juice to a blender.
  5. Blend until smooth and pourable.
  6. Pour the cantaloupe mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion.
  7. Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 6 hours, or until completely firm.
  8. To unmold, run the outside of the molds under warm water for a few seconds, then gently pull out the popsicles.
  9. Serve straight from the freezer and enjoy cold.
