  • 1 seeded baguette
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 big garlic clove
  • fresh basil leaves
  • olives oil
  • 1 lemon cut in half

  1. Wash the tomatoes and basil well. Slice the tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a clean bowl.
  2. Finely chop the basil leaves and garlic clove, then add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.
  3. Squeeze the lemon juice over the tomato mixture. Drizzle in some olive oil, then mix everything well.
  4. Slice the baguette into pieces.
  5. Toast the baguette slices until they are lightly golden and crisp.
  6. Spoon the tomato mixture over the toasted bread.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy while the bread is still crunchy.
