Method
- Wash the tomatoes and basil well. Slice the tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a clean bowl.
- Finely chop the basil leaves and garlic clove, then add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.
- Squeeze the lemon juice over the tomato mixture. Drizzle in some olive oil, then mix everything well.
- Slice the baguette into pieces.
- Toast the baguette slices until they are lightly golden and crisp.
- Spoon the tomato mixture over the toasted bread.
- Serve immediately and enjoy while the bread is still crunchy.
