Chocolate Layer

  • 1 1/4 cups chocolate milk

Coffee Layer

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/4 cup half-and-half
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar

Vanilla Cream Layer

  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream, or half-and-half
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 10 popsicle sticks
  • 1 measuring cup
  • 2 small mixing bowls
  • 1 mixing spoon
  • 1 freezer

Directions

  1. Pour the chocolate milk evenly into popsicle molds. Freeze for 2 hours, or until solid.
  2. In a small bowl or measuring cup, stir together the cooled brewed coffee, half-and-half, and sugar until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Pour the coffee mixture over the frozen chocolate layer.
  4. Insert popsicle sticks and freeze again for 2 hours, or until firm.
  5. In another bowl, stir together the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the vanilla cream mixture over the frozen coffee layer.
  7. Freeze for 4 hours, or until completely firm.
  8. To unmold, run the outside of the popsicle molds under warm water for a few seconds, then gently pull out the popsicles.
