Raisin Scones

Raisin Scones

Be the first to review!
You don’t need anything fancy to put together a batch of raisin scones. With the like of all-purpose flour, butter, milk and sugar from your pantry you can make these soft, mildly sweet baked goods. The dough comes together easily by rubbing butter into the dry mixture, adding milk, then folding in the raisins for little bursts of sweetness. Once they have been baked to a nice golden colour, they are just the thing for breakfast or brunch, or perhaps to have with tea and a good cup of something warm. A pat of butter or some jam on top makes for a fine snack too.
