Dip each onion ring into the beaten egg, then coat it in the flour mixture.
Dip it back into the egg, then coat it with panko breadcrumbs or regular breadcrumbs.
Heat the oil in a deep skillet or frying pan over medium heat.
Fry the onion rings in batches until golden brown and crispy.
Remove and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
