- Add the ground beef to a bowl. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Add the egg, then mix everything together until just combined. Try not to overmix so the patties stay tender.
- Slice the onions and cook them in a pan with a little oil or butter over medium-low heat until soft, golden, and caramelized.
- Roll the seasoned beef into your preferred patty size, then flatten each one into a burger patty.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the patties for a few minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, and paprika until smooth and creamy.
- Toast the burger buns in a pan until lightly golden. Once they are done, spread a little butter on the warm buns.
- Spread the burger sauce onto the buns.
