Method
- Wash the strawberries and blueberries well, then gently pat them dry with paper towels.
- Slice the strawberries into halves or thick slices, depending on their size.
- Peel the bananas and cut them into thick rounds. Try not to slice them too thin, so they stay firm on the skewers.
- Cut the cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese into bite-size cubes.
- Thread the fruit and cheese onto each wooden skewer in any pattern you like. A simple pattern is blueberry, strawberry, banana, cheese, then repeat until the skewer is filled.
- Arrange the skewers on a serving tray and serve right away.
