The beef is first marinated with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper, then pressure cooked until tender before the vegetables are added at the end for a fresh bite. Ingredients
  

  • 500 g beef thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp ground black pepper
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil
  • 2 cloves garlic sliced
  • 1 inch ginger sliced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 head broccoli cut into small florets
  • 1 large onion coarsely sliced
  • 3 red chili peppers coarsely sliced
  • salt to taste

Equipment

  • 1 pressure cooker or Instant Pot-style multi-cooker

Method
 

  1. Mix the beef with light soy sauce, oyster sauce, and ground black pepper.
  2. Press 'STIR FRY' and 'ON'. Add cooking oil to the pot.
  3. Sauté the sliced ingredients and stir until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated meat and water. Stir to combine.
  5. Cover the pot and turn the knob to 'PRESSURE'. Press High Pressure for 20 minutes and 'ON'.
  6. When the pot beeps, turn the knob to Steam and release the pressure steam. When there is no hissing sound, press 'OFF' and slowly open the pot lid.
  7. Press 'STIR FRY' and 'ON'. Add the broccoli and salt. Stir for about 3 minutes.
  8. Add the onion and red chili. Stir well.
  9. Press 'OFF', and it's ready to serve.
