This Alfredo Sauce is rich, creamy, and so easy to make at home with just a few simple ingredients. Made with butter, garlic, heavy cream, and plenty of Parmesan cheese, it comes together into a smooth, cheesy sauce that coats pasta perfectly. It’s a cozy, restaurant-style favorite that’s perfect for a quick dinner any night of the week.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • Italian seasoning to taste
  • garlic powder to taste
  • pasta

Method
 

  1. In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until browned.
  2. Pour in the 2 cups of heavy cream and let it gently warm up.
  3. Add 2 cups of Parmesan cheese and stir well to combine.
  4. Sprinkle in salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder to your liking.
  5. Lower the heat to low–medium and stir continuously for about 10 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt slowly and the sauce to thicken.
  6. Toss in your cooked pasta and mix until everything is coated in that creamy sauce.

Notes

Extra Tips:
  1. Add a little extra Parmesan if you love it extra cheesy.
  2. Stir in about 1/3 cup of pasta water to loosen the sauce and make it silky smooth.
