For a meal that is as colorful and full of flavor as it is easy to put together, try these Air Fryer Chicken Kabobs. You get tender, marinated chicken with the sweetness of pineapple, some yellow onion and cherry tomatoes for a nice contrast. We start by giving the chicken a good coating of olive oil, honey, salt and black pepper, then let the air fryer do its work until it is properly cooked and tender. After that you just thread it all onto skewers with your fresh ingredients. They make for a fun kabobs dish whether you are having an easy family supper, putting in a lunch or feeding a crowd at a party.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 chicken breast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 3 slices pineapple diced small
  • 1 dutch onion diced small
  • 24 cherry tomatoes
  • salt to taste
  • wooden skewers as needed

Equipment

  • 1 air fryer
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 chef’s knife
  • 1 medium mixing bowl
  • 1 measuring spoon set
  • 1 mixing spoon
  • 1 pair of tongs
  • 6 wooden skewers

Method
 

  1. Dice the chicken into small cubes.
  2. Mix the olive oil, honey, black pepper, and salt with the chicken. Let marinate for 2 hours.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer to 200°C until the heating light turns off. This should take about 3 minutes.
  4. Place the chicken in the Air Fryer and cook for 15 minutes.
  5. Add the pineapple to the Air Fryer with the chicken. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Thread the chicken, alternating with pineapple, shallots, and cherry tomatoes.
