 300 g granulated sugar
 50 ml hot water

 250 g butter
 250 g mixed fruit
 300 g wheat flour, sifted
 1 tsp baking soda, sifted
 ½ tsp cream of tartar, sifted
 3 eggs
 1 tsp vanilla essence

 300 g granulated sugar
 50 ml hot water

 250 g mixed fruit
 300 g wheat flour, sifted
 1 tsp baking soda, sifted
 ½ tsp cream of tartar, sifted
 3 eggs
 1 tsp vanilla essence

Directions

Put the sugar in a pot. Press 'STIR FRY' and 'ON'. Stir slowly until the sugar dissolves.

Add mixed fruit and press 'OFF'. Set aside.

When warm, gradually add the sifted ingredients to the mixture and stir well with a wooden spoon.

Beat the eggs and vanilla extract in a small bowl, then pour them into the flour mixture. Stir well.

Pour the mixture into a baking pan lined with parchment paper.

Place a clean kitchen towel in the pot. Place the rack and water in the pot.

Place the baking pan in the pot and cover it.

Set the button to 'STEAM'. Press 'STEAM' 60 minutes and 'ON'.

When the pot beeps, release the pressure. If there is no beeping sound, press 'OFF' and slowly open the pot lid. Cool the cake before serving.

Now the Steamed Fruit Cake is ready to be served.
