Ingredients
  

  • 4 servings dry noodles
  • 3 medium squids, coarsely sliced
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil
  • 3 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 3 tbsp chili paste
  • 3 cup water
  • 3 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp chili sauce
  • 1 stalk leek, white and light green parts, thinly sliced
  • A little fried shallots
  • Salt to taste

Method
 

  1. Heat oil using the Stir Fry mode.
  2. Sauté shallots and garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add chili paste and cook until aromatic and the oil separates.
  4. Pour in water, sweet soy sauce, chili sauce, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  5. [cooked-timer minutes="2"]Add squid and cook for 1–2 minutes.[/cooked-timer]
  6. [cooked-timer minutes="3"]Add noodles and cook for 2–3 minutes until just tender.[/cooked-timer]
  7. Stir gently and turn off the heat.
  8. Once finished, you can serve the Instant Noodle topped with leek and fried shallots.
