- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- In a large bowl, beat the cold butter, light brown sugar, and white sugar together until combined and creamy.
- Mix in the egg until fully incorporated.
- Stir in the flour, cornflour, and salt until a soft dough forms.
- Gently mix in the milk chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Roll or scoop the dough into balls and place them on the lined tray, leaving space between each one.
- Bake for 14 minutes, until the edges are set, but the centers are still soft.
- Let the cookies cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
