Ingredients
  

  • 120 g cold unsalted butter
  • 100 g light brown sugar
  • 50 g white granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 250 g all-purpose flour
  • 30 g corn flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 250 g milk chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the cold butter, light brown sugar, and white sugar together until combined and creamy.
  3. Mix in the egg until fully incorporated.
  4. Stir in the flour, cornflour, and salt until a soft dough forms.
  5. Gently mix in the milk chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Roll or scoop the dough into balls and place them on the lined tray, leaving space between each one.
  7. Bake for 14 minutes, until the edges are set, but the centers are still soft.
  8. Let the cookies cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
